My desk space

I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).

Giveaway

I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...

Stella

I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...

New in: Newlook wedge boots

I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Lychee

Barry M Gelly Hi-shine Nail paint in Lychee here

When the Barry M Gelly hi-shine nail paints were first realised I purchased a lilac shade in the range and loved the finish of it. The polish lasted so long without chipping and I never applied a top coat. When I went back to look for another shade they didn't had much of a choice. I'm not sure if it is was just my local Superdrug/Boots but they seem to have added new shades bit by bit. Now they have a good few I really like, starting with this nude.
I love wearing nude nails. Sometimes I don't want a colour on my nails which is 'in your face' but can be easily jazzed up with a glitter polish - which I always like doing. I added Models Own Juicy jules onto my thumb and loved how they turned out. I'm about to re paint them tonight the same. I only apply one coat as the formulae is very thick but they seem to dry almost instantly which I always love.

Has anyone else tried any from the range?

L'Oreal Eversleek No sulphates shampoo/conditioner

My hair is very dry, curly, wavy, frizzy and tangled. I get so annoyed with trying to manage it so about 4/5 years ago I decided to stop using straighteners. Back then the 'in' thing to do with your hair was to make it poker straight, so nothing was out of place. I managed to wreck my hair and it ended up breaking off on my pillow while I slept. I had tuffs of hair around my face which looked awful. You can only imagine. My brother jokingly use to say that he cut my hair in the night, but I faced it that I was frazzling my hair with heat.
I then went from having quite long hair to getting it chopped to my shoulders. This was the best thing I had ever done to my hair, but now I've grown it out it's back to being frizzy and tangled.

Whenever I got to the hairdressers they always recommend sulphate free products, but I've never got round to trying one, un till this one. The L'Oreal Eversleek shampoo and conditioner was on offer in Superdrug so I thought I would give it a try.

Firstly, I thought it wouldn't lather or even moisturise my hair. We all know that the artificial ingredients in hair products are adding a coating to your hair making it feel baby soft? Well this still makes it feel as smooth. My hair always needed to be washed to restore some moisture, but I've found my hair actually builds oil - which may seem normal but if you have such dry hair like me you would know. My hair was instantly soft (and sleek like it suggests). And the frizz? That has completely gone. That photo was with one wash and I've used it a few times since and still love it.

I haven't got the best photo to show you. An 'before' photo would have been better. I also had no makeup on so excuse the chin shot, but my hair is so much more manageable.

It's really worth a try if you suffer from dry, frizzy or tangled hair. It's worked miracles on mine.
And I can never usually find a shampoo/conditioner which helps it at all. They also have different formulas such as for colour care.

Any one else tried these? or suffer from frizzy hair like me?

New in: Matalan jewellery sale finds

A few of you liked the jewellery I purchased from Matalan a few weeks ago, so I thought I would show you what I got last night. Their jewellery stands were basically all half price. But I didn't go mad, although I got a really nice Dining set for half price! I'll be sure to show you later in the week.
The statement necklace was one I saw when I was in Matalan earlier this month, and when something I nearly purchased goes in the sale - I have to buy it. It's meant to be, ay? My boyfriend didn't think so, but it was only £5! The triangle necklace was £2.50 and the earrings were just £1.50. I should have brought more, but I was good.

Anyone else picked up any jewellery from the sale?

DIY: Makeup brush holder

Instructions here
I have always struggled to find something to hold my makeup brushes. I have a few acrylic and black containers but never liked the overall look, as it didn't match with my other decor in my room. I wanted something the size of a Mason jar, so I thought I would have a go at decorating one and I loved the result. The instructions are over at Nouvelle daily. It's really easy to do even with spray paint. I managed to keep tidy with the paint instead of getting it everywhere like usual.

New Video: What's in my handbag?

Youtube channel
I've had a few people request that I film this video after seeing my new handbag. So here it is. I must admit I was pretty nervous waiting for it to upload to see what my options for the thumbnail would be. Hopefully the choppy editing won't be annoying. I was trying to look after my two dogs while my bunny was having a run around the house, so didn't want to leave them on their own. I also, wasn't going to upload it as so many things annoy me about myself, but I just need to get over it ay?

Let me know what you think and if you have a youtube channel, leave it in the comments. I would love a watch.

Review: Elemis Skin Nourishing Hand and Body lotion

I've never tried anything from Elemis before, so I was excited to try this out. I have drawers and baskets in my cupboards full of moisturisers. I have such dry skin all over, so I am always looking for anything to moisturise my body.

Firstly, I think the product smells like baby powder. It might not be everyones cup of tea, but it smells so fresh (not in a minty way). I find the scent stays on the skin too, which if it was anything stronger I wouldn't like it, as I much prefer to wear a strong perfume.

I apply it after my bath in the evening and it soaks into the skin a treat. A little goes a long way and it doesn't leave behind any greasiness or residue which I find some other of my favourites moisturisers do. It's packed full of good ingredients such as Camellia, Macadamia and Johoba oils. I've already noticed a massive improvement with my skin.

The directions on the packaging state to use it morning and evening, but I have only been using it in the evening as I find that is enough.

This is a firm favourite in my body care products now and is kept with my exfoliaters and skin care in a tray in my bathroom for easy reach. I love how it comes in a pump bottle as it minimises getting it everywhere.

Has anyone else tried this? I want to try the Papaya Enzyme Peel from Elemis next.

A busy Saturday...

Print - Dream and wonder here
It's been a bit of a busy day today - hence the post title. I've been to pick some new products for our bath/body range in the shop. I'm also thinking of starting stocking them on the online store. The website is having a re-vamp this weekend. I'm so excited to get it fully running. The shop has been pretty busy today too!

Tonight I'm finishing lots of designs for some lovely bloggers. I'm over the moon with how many enquiries I have received. I only thought I would receive a couple, if that.
After I've finished, I'm going to have a good catch up with some blogs. Please leave me a link to yours, if you like and I hope you are having a lovely weekend so far.

Beau beau

Today, I've had my sister round for a play date with Beau. He's had a good run around the house. so only managed to get two photos which are slightly in focus. He seems happy though.

I re-filmed my 'what's in my tag' video which I'm importing now and should be up tonight or tomorrow tonight. I'm hating looking back at the video though, the last one I filmed I set the camera up at the wrong angle and it was basically a view of my double chin! So it's re-filmed and should be up shortly.

Tonight, I'm going to continue lots of design work. Got some new things hitting my website soon. Including some pre-designing blog layouts for blogger which have been requested. Anyone who has emailed me today, I'll reply to you tonight.

Happy Friday!

Kitchen decor wish list

Ceramic tea cup vase - here Dining set - here Bow hooks - here Baking tin - here Serving set - here Vase - here Tea towel - here Dishcloths - here Salt dish - here

I'm getting a bit impatient at waiting to buy new things for my kitchen. Every chance I get in-between working, I am browsing online at Ikea, Zara home & H&M home. My three favourite places to get home ware accessories (as well as my own store of course).
If it wasn't for waiting for a pin number for my bank card I would have purchased all my wardrobes for my spare room. I just want everything finally finished.
My theme for my kitchen is going to white, grey with pops of black. I want lots of fresh flowers and a space for me to sit to eat. We have a wooden table brought cheaply from Ikea when we moved in two years ago. But it doesn't have much character to it. I would love a old table and restore it but I have found a few beauties in IKEA. The deal is my boyfriend gets a breakfast bar with a TV on the wall and I get my table. Sounds good to me. Although, he also wants an American style fridge. I really don't see how we need a larger fridge just for the two of us?!
How adorable is the cup and saucer vase from Next? I saw it probably a couple of weeks ago now, and it's sold out on the website. I must go and check my local Next to see if they have it. Even if it involves driving an extra 15 mins to a larger Next - I have to find it!

Review: Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara here
left: no mascara right: one coat of mascara

I was having a browse at the makeup section in Superdrug the other day, in need of a new mascara. I had just ran out of my Clinique high impact and L'Oreal Telescopic. Instead of re-purchasing my trusty L'Oreal telescopic, I thought I would try the new Revlon Lash accelerator Endless. I quite liked their original lash Accelerator,. This time around they have added in a larger brush and changed the formulae, although they have kept their lash growing complex in.
The brush works at separating the lashes but you have to be careful while it dries that you don't print it all over your face as the formulae is really wet. Once dry it looks fine and really holds shape in my lashes. I think I may prefer it more if they kept the original brush, as I find this one scratches my eye area when I apply it.
Overall, if you are looking for a mascara which separates - this does the job. I haven't noticed any falling onto my under eye throughout the day and it comes off easily when I'm cleansing, which I always like.

Anyone else tried this - what do you think?

Little things

'Little things' wooden Box here

Today, I've been doing a little organising. I got this wooden box in at the shop last week and loved it that much I had to keep one for myself. I keep all my most used jewellery in there and I love how the top section pulls out so there plenty more room underneath. I've just been looking through the IKEA website for my wardrobes I want for my spare room. I can't get them yet though as I'm waiting on my pin number to arrive for my bank card. It's taking forever.

Tonights going to include a quick power nap as I'm getting the worst migraine then going to wait for the mister tesco delivery guy to deliver some food. Glamorous life ey? I've then got to get through my emails and finish some design work as well as completed the shops website.

Oh, I also have to try and get my dog Toby to stop being so fascinated with Beau. He has been sat with him for days now. Only moves for a quick drink and toliet trip!

Review: L'Oréal Color Riche Nail Top Coat Confetti

L'oreal top coat in Confettis - £4.99 here
I was about to purchase Illamasqua's new polishes from their new Imperfection collection, but saw that L'oreal are doing a similar top coat for only £4.99. I searched around my local Superdrug/Boots for the last couple of weeks and just got my hands on one last weekend. I love how I will be able to pair it with  lots of different nail shades. I opted for a nude polish in the photos but I think I am going to try a pastel colour tomorrow. I managed to get enough confetti on my nails in one coat, when I thought I would be sat there trying for ages.
L'Oreal released a couple of new top coats recently and there's a few nail shades I want to try from them too. I've never really ventured in polishes from the brand before.
Overall I'm happy that I didn't splurge on one from Illamasqua, although I still really want one.

Any one got the L'Oreal top coat or wrote a post on the Illasmasqua one? Feel free to leave me a link so I can have a nosey.

DIY tassel keyring

Here's something I've made for my keys. I love tassel's so thought it would be pretty easy to make one myself. The instructions are over on Nouvelle daily here.
I used a keyring clip instead of a ring, as I don't know about you but it makes me cringe having to use your nails to open the ring and push the other through it. I dislike it a lot.
I might make another in a different colour. Maybe a pastel pink or a metallic one?
Let me know what you think...

Etsy store launch: Dream & Wonder

Dream and Wonder etsy store
I mentioned in yesterdays post that my sister should be launching her etsy store tonight. It is now live and currently has one piece on there, but will increase throughout the week.

Let me know if you stop by or make an order. She can supply the design on high quality card or in a frame like the one I have. There will soon be a canvas option too and she is looking to expand to phone cases, tote bags, mugs and more in the very near future.
If you would like one in a frame there is a contact section, so drop her an email.

More of her designs are going to include makeup, handbags, shoes, ionic quotes and custom requests.

Let me know what you think...

Night, night Theodore

So not long after writing my post last night I found out that one of my bunnies had died. He was all bouncy and himself in the morning and next time we saw him he had passed away. We've had the bunnies for over 4 months now and it was a bit of a shock that Theodore has just died like that. So instead of indulging in a long bath and reading magazines I had to help my boyfriend dig a hole in the garden. Awful, ay?

Today, my mum is going to open the shop and I'm going to go and find a rabbit cage/dog crate. My other bunny, Beau is going to be living indoors. We thought about having them indoors when we got them but we thought the dogs would be too hyper and we was able to keep them warm enough but I think I want Beau in the house now so he has some company. He's already been in the house lots of times so he should be fine.

The pretty perfect evening

Tonight is going to consist of bubble baths, magazine reading and lots of designing. It's pretty perfect after a day in the shop. Sales were up today, so we're slowly getting over the awful month of January.
My sister is currently in the last few stages of opening up her etsy store. The print in the frame is one of the pieces she will be selling as well as illustrations of makeup, handbags and lots more perfume. I love this one so had to have one myself. She also has illustrated a Celine' bag - which I want to have in my spare room. The illustrations will also be going on canvas's, tote bags, mugs and phone cases. But, hopefully it will launch tomorrow with some prints ready to purchase. Prices are starting from £4 and shipping will be worldwide. I will link to her store tomorrow for anyone who might be interested.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far. I'm looking forward to catching some of the Rihanna for River Island show at LFW tonight. Loved some pieces I've seen already.

Review: Nip + Fab Sheer make-up fix

I often have a hunt in the beauty section in Tk Maxx, as i often find some really bargains from Nars, Essie and Models own to name a few. I hadn't yet tried anything from the brand Nip + Fab but as soon as I saw the Sheer makeup fix, I had to buy it to buy. It was only £4.99 when on boots it retails for £15.99.
I've been wearing it this last week and have really seen a difference with the overall finish of my face. I apply it over my moisturiser and before my foundation. It's a gel formulae but instead of some other primers I have, it doesn't feel artificial and blends in the skin really easily.
For ingredients it includes lots of good stuff like oat extract and it also has osilift® and hyaluronic acid to firm the skin.
This product has really changed my views on primers. I always thought that primers were for people who have oily skin and need something to help foundation stay in place. The product also comes in a tinted version but you could easily mix it in with a little bit of foundation and it would work a treat.
Overall, it is amazing at giving your skin that extra bit of brightness and really minimises pores.

Anyone else found any bargains in TK Maxx recently?

Happy Valentine's day

Block calendar here

I'm not usually the one for red roses, I prefer pink or not a rose at all. But, I thought as it was valentines day I would go for the traditional, even though they shoot up in price for the occasion. My day is being spent doing my accounts, going to a car garage, getting some DIY supplies and visiting a relative in hospital. So not the most romantic of days.
I've got lots of blog designs to do this evening for some really lovely blogs. I finished Sabrina's from A little Obsessed yesterday and I love how it turned out. If anyone is interested in a design I'm booked up for the next week or so but can schedule anyone in. Just give me an email over at 'info@bagglewebanddesign.co.uk' for some more details.

Hope everyone has a lovely day, even if you are spending it on your own.
It's just another reason to treat yourself.

New in: Zara mini Bowling bag

Zara mini Bowling bag with zips - £39.99 here
I've loved all of the handbags from Zara these last few months, they can be really good quality and affordable. Which is great when you like to change your handbag often. I treated myself last week to the mini bowling bag after deciding whether I want to wait for delivery or go in store to find out they don't stock it there. I went with getting it delivered. I ordered it Friday afternoon and it came at 9.00am Monday morning! Can't believe I was worried it would take ages. I'm very impatient with online shopping. It's great when your laid in bed shopping away but I just want the products delivered to my door the next second. So I was really pleased with the service. Another thing I was debating about what the size of the handbag. Zara states that is is 'mini', but I actually fetched a tape measure and measured out 30cm trying to picture what it would look it. It's much bigger than I though, thankfully. They did stock the full leather large version of this bag, which Amy from Amy Antoinette purchased. But, the mini one is such a better size for me as I always loose things and have to spend hours looking for something which is just hidden in the black hole. I can fit all my paperwork in for the shop, my massive purse, makeup bag and lots more. I'm so glad I got it.

I'm going to film a 'what's in my bag' video on Friday so it will be up for the weekend, if you would like to see it up closer. I know a few people have asked me what the size of this handbag was like after I posted it on instagram.

DIY Chevron Cork board and Nouvelle daily launch

I posted this chevron cork board on my Instagram a couple of weeks ago and I had a couple of people email to ask me where I brought it from. It is infact one of the DIY's I have done for the newly launched online magazine by Kate from Gh0stparties. Kate launched Nouvelle daily this morning and if you haven't already had a good read through the posts so far, you really should. She has done such an amazing job and you can imagine how much hard work it has took. It's a place where all beauty, fashion and lifestyle posts are put together. As the blogging world is changing constantly, it's nice that something like this has been created by one of my all time favourite bloggers. Nouvelle daily is going to be updated regularly so it's worth bookmarking for your long commutes to work or to read through on your lunch break. There's also a competition running at the moment to win a stunning Mulberry Lily bag!! What's not to love?

I can't wait to contribute more to Nouvelle daily, and I will keep you updated with links when I do.

Matalan gems

I love finding little jewellery gems in Matalan. Their jewellery section is basically Topshop and Dorothy Perkins pieces but at a cheaper price. I love simple necklaces and the pink and gold go perfectly together. They have lots of new necklaces which I'm going to go back for. That were so pretty.

Around my home

My decor posts seem to be my most popular - which is also probably what I love most but wished I post more often. With my house being full off on going projects I'm not able to show you each room completely as it would just annoy me. Un till one room is completely how I like it, I thought I would show you a few snippets. My colour scheme through most my rooms are grey, white with pops of colour.
In one of my previous posts I mentioned I was painting my kitchen cabinets. They are nearly finished, but we need to re-tile the creme tiles to either a white or grey. I can't wait to see it all finished. It's surprising what a little bit of paint can do.
The last photo has reminded me how I need to add photos to all my empty frames. The perfume drawing was awfully drawn by me but my sister can draw and is starting a etsy shop doing a similar ones in watercolours galore. I can't wait to show you my mulberry canvas she has done. I'll post about her store later in the week when it has launched.

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. I'm going to catch up on some of my favourite blogs, have a relaxing bath and probably watch a film. The shop has been a bit mad this week. Not with customers, just with financial things. I'm really excited to get some new stock in and having a transformation on the website. I'm definitely going to go forward with developing the website and having it fully stocked after feedback from our flash sale I posted. Really excited for lots of projects both with my blog and Gifts & pieces. Oh, and I'm nearly at 700 GFC followers which is amazing! I can't believe in the space of a month how much my views have increased and the lovely comments/emails I have received. Feeling more than content with everything for a change.

Review: Bead Head Moisture manic shampoo

Bed head Moisture manic shampoo here
I've never tried a hair product from the Bed head range, and I'm always recommended to try it when I'm at the hairdressers. I was looking for their shampoo which was SLS free as I was having a real hard time with the dryness of my hair. I don't use a heat styling products on my hair and I don't colour it but it was so dry and frizzy. Not to mention, my scalp is so sensitive. I suffer with eczema and Keratosis pilaris so I knew products with SLS don't help my skin at all.
Unfortunately, I picked up a Bed head shampoo which wasn't SLS free as I couldn't seem to get my hands on a bedheads range of SLS free unless I ordered online, but I wanted to try a new shampoo straight away.
The shampoo actually surprised me at how much of a difference it made to my hair. I was concerned it would irritate my scalp and neck but it didn't and left my hair feeling soft until it's next wash. Normally my hair will be fine the day I wash it but the day in between it would go dry and brittle. My hair managed to keep it's moisture. I scent is really fruity but not too empowering.
Although I am pretty happy with this shampoo and used it up I still want to try a SLS free one, but if you are looking for a new shampoo to help with dry hair, this one did the job perfectly for me.

Does anyone use a SLS free shampoo/conditioner and have any recommendations?

My current everyday makeup

Instead of showing you my favourite products I have been using this last month, I like to every now and again I like to show what I have been loving. I mentioned in one of my previous post that I have loved 17's metallic eyes creme shadow paired with Mac's star violet. I like how the two go together and I can easily blend the eyeshadow into the creme eyeshadow giving me some much needed dimension to my small eyes.
My foundation recently has been Revlon's Colour stay but I think I'm going to try Chanel's vitalumiere as I love the finish it gives. I love Revlon's Photo ready powder as it'so light on my skin, but I only use it if I need my makeup to stay on a full day. I have been breaking out a little recently so have used it to build up coverage as I often only mix Revlon's colour stay with a moisturiser.
The only thing I think it missing from my everyday makeup stash is a good highlighter. Not sure if I want to try a powder or  a creme. Let me know if you have any suggestions or have wrote a review. I have Mac's strobe creme but want something a little more natural.

Mac's hue and Essie's Fiji combo

Mac's hue and Essie's fiji has been very much loved recently. I love a good nude shade but I always go towards the pink side. Fiji is my all time favourite nail polish - i can't get enough of wearing it ever since I brought it. Mac's hue is such an easy colour to wear on the lips, it practically goes with anything. If I'm going out and I'm wearing heavy eyes it creates a contrast. But, if I'm going for a natural look the pinkness of the shade really gives my lips a much needed colour and gloss.

Does anyone else reach for both these products regularly or do you reach for something different?

Makeup I have recently been loving

I've really been loving colour on the eyes recently. I've never really found a shade which I thought compliment my eyes, even when following the usual tips. I have green/hazel eyes and they often change colour in seasons going brown in winter and green in the summer. I'm sure there is a word for this?!
But, to the point - I think I have found some shades which I think finally compliment my eyes. I purchased a couple metallic eye creams from 17 when they were released, but although I liked them they wasn't in any shades that I loved. I tried this one in 'wild nude' the other week and suddenly fell in love with the colour. It's a bronzy brown but can look purple in some lights. Although, I wish the staying power was much greater - I've been really impressed with it. It's made me want to try the Chanel versions now!
The MUA eyeshadow was brought such a long time ago randomly when I was trying some new shades. I don't think I ever touched it before but I love it on the outer corner of my eyes and blended out.
The mac eyeshadow is in the shade 'Star violet', and is so pigmented. I use this when I want a stronger pop of colour - mostly in the evenings. But this definitely stays in place.
Nars' blush in 'Orgasm' is a favourite amongst many people, and although I loved it when I purchased it, I never reached for it on a daily basis. I was always one for a pink cheek instead of a coral. But come the warmer months, I know I will be wearing it even more. I often forget about things I have and they become a little un loved.
I recently re-purchased Loreal's Super liner. I did have the one in carbon gloss but I got a little confused as the packaging has changed. This is my favourite eyeliner and never fades. I can honestly say when I take my makeup off in the evening it is still perfectly sat as it was when I applied it first thing in the morning. My sister started using it the other month and was confused how it stayed on her face for so long. Definitely worth a purchase if you don't own already.

Anyone else have any new products or found products they haven't used for a while?

My current DIY projects

I have a few DIY projects on the go in my house at the moment.I always want to get things done NOW, so I have started everything I want to do. Firstly, I think I've mentioned in a post before I want to transform my spare room into walk in wardrobe type room. I have clothes pretty much everywhere and I really want somewhere that I can see everything on display. I can't wait to share it with you when it's finished.
Next on my list is my kitchen. I've not really loved the kitchen since we moved in 2 years ago, and my boyfriend finally agrees. As I don't have a ton of money, with changing my career to being completely self-employed I couldn't afford to buy new cupboards/kitchen so we thought we would have a go at painted the doors instead. I love how they have turned out. We was a little scared that the paint wouldn't stick as the doors are just laminate but the paint worked a treat. We're going to add a protection coat on top. Unfortunately, with the cupboards going white the tiles look pretty vile. I'm currently looking for some white simple ones I think. The walls are grey (although my boyfriend thinks they are blue).
Lastly, I am starting to sort my bathroom out. We was going to tile over the blue border but with the  kitchen cupboards being transformed easily with paint, we are going to try some tile paint first - as I'm fine with the white tiles.
Hopefully one of rooms will be finished soon so I can show you. I might post an inspiration board a little later for my cupboard.
