Night, night Theodore

So not long after writing my post last night I found out that one of my bunnies had died. He was all bouncy and himself in the morning and next time we saw him he had passed away. We've had the bunnies for over 4 months now and it was a bit of a shock that Theodore has just died like that. So instead of indulging in a long bath and reading magazines I had to help my boyfriend dig a hole in the garden. Awful, ay?

Today, my mum is going to open the shop and I'm going to go and find a rabbit cage/dog crate. My other bunny, Beau is going to be living indoors. We thought about having them indoors when we got them but we thought the dogs would be too hyper and we was able to keep them warm enough but I think I want Beau in the house now so he has some company. He's already been in the house lots of times so he should be fine.

  1. Aw I'm so sorry to hear that :( It's so awful when a pet dies, especially when there were no warning signs to prepare you. I hope Beau will be happy indoors, I'm sure he'll appreciate the company.

  2. That's really sad news :( it's always horrible but even worse when it's completely unexpected like that. I'm sure your dog and rabbit will be fine together - I know other people who manage this just fine :)
I only recently realised your shop isn't far from me and is in a town I regularly work in but never actually visit (if that makes sense) but everything in it looks so pretty I may have to take an hour or so off to come and stop by :)

  9. Aw, I hope not, maybe take him to a vet if you're worried for a little bunny MOT?

So sorry to hear about Theodore :-( My two bunnies have always been indoors, and they're both turning 8 this year. Prefer them to as I can keep an eye on them (and their mischievous ways!) and I think they love being in the warmth and in your company :) Thinking of you and give lots of cuddles to Beau :-) xx

  13. I'm so sorry to hear about Theodore :( it is really cold out there, I think it's a good decision to bring Beau inside, for the company as well as the warmth. At my mum's our bunny is a house bunny, and he's really happy indoors :) I hope Beau will be ok without his friend! You'll have to give him lots of love and attention xx
