L'Oreal Eversleek No sulphates shampoo/conditioner

My hair is very dry, curly, wavy, frizzy and tangled. I get so annoyed with trying to manage it so about 4/5 years ago I decided to stop using straighteners. Back then the 'in' thing to do with your hair was to make it poker straight, so nothing was out of place. I managed to wreck my hair and it ended up breaking off on my pillow while I slept. I had tuffs of hair around my face which looked awful. You can only imagine. My brother jokingly use to say that he cut my hair in the night, but I faced it that I was frazzling my hair with heat.
I then went from having quite long hair to getting it chopped to my shoulders. This was the best thing I had ever done to my hair, but now I've grown it out it's back to being frizzy and tangled.

Whenever I got to the hairdressers they always recommend sulphate free products, but I've never got round to trying one, un till this one. The L'Oreal Eversleek shampoo and conditioner was on offer in Superdrug so I thought I would give it a try.

Firstly, I thought it wouldn't lather or even moisturise my hair. We all know that the artificial ingredients in hair products are adding a coating to your hair making it feel baby soft? Well this still makes it feel as smooth. My hair always needed to be washed to restore some moisture, but I've found my hair actually builds oil - which may seem normal but if you have such dry hair like me you would know. My hair was instantly soft (and sleek like it suggests). And the frizz? That has completely gone. That photo was with one wash and I've used it a few times since and still love it.

I haven't got the best photo to show you. An 'before' photo would have been better. I also had no makeup on so excuse the chin shot, but my hair is so much more manageable.

It's really worth a try if you suffer from dry, frizzy or tangled hair. It's worked miracles on mine.
And I can never usually find a shampoo/conditioner which helps it at all. They also have different formulas such as for colour care.

Any one else tried these? or suffer from frizzy hair like me?

We have this in the States as well, and I love it. I have a super sensitive scalp, so I can't use sulfates at all or my head freaks out. I've also tried the thickening version (because it nourishes your scalp; I actually have quite thick hair as it is), which also works wonderfully.

  4. I try to go sulfate free, can't say I've noticed a difference but I am terrible at noticing and my opinion/perception of my hair changes daily! I love the everriche line of products from this range, purely for the smell. They are less common around than the pure/sleek/strong ones but I reccomend!

  6. Oo I must try! I think I have been using some shampoo/conditioners which have purely done nothing for my hair. Maybe you usually use ones which do - so would explain why you haven't noticed much of a difference? :) x
