I've been needing to look for a lot of storage lately, and while a trip to IKEA isn't quite near I've had to have a look around my local town. I've made a list of things I want and ideas where to find it. Usually I will lust after something for ages but then forget to look and most of the time it takes some searching. I'm planning to get a bookcase at the end of the month but I don't have many books. I wish I did. That in mind I'm looking for pretty things to go on it. I want to organise it with piles of books, ornaments and photo frames. Really want to mix it up a little. The plum lidded pot is something that I've been wanting for so long. I keep finding ones but they come in bright colours such as pink and purple. Although, I am looking to add some colour in my house (my boyfriends words) I didn't want it to be included in the Plum pot. I saw this one and knew it was perfect. Look's so much more expensive than what it was.
The weave baskets are something I have only been looking for since last week. I think I stumbled upon them on a interior website when looking for types of storage. I love the white weave baskets you can get but again (my boyfriends words) I have so many white things already. These fit perfectly in my living room, although I've decided to use the small one on my dressing table to store my every day makeup. I said in a previous post about my MUJI storage not being able to go on a shelf. So they are on top of the chest of drawers. Well now I can put my everyday makeup in this basket and then in the morning decide what I need to put in my makeup bag to carry in my handbag. This way I won't end up with a dressing table full of makeup. Although, many of you said that it was nice clutter. Storage is something I'm definitely lacking.

Loving the buddha head and the baskets ! Concerning the blog copy, did you contact the person ? Because that is definitely not okay !!
ReplyDeleteThanks :) Well... don't want to get into drama. Surely they could have just googled stuff for coding instead of pasting my source code and having my content displayed untill they changed stuff. xx
ReplyDeleteWHAT? That is so annoying! Did you message them? I mean really you've copyrighted this blog so they shouldn't be allowed to take it!
ReplyDeleteLove the baskets by the way!
love them!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm giving away a Clarisonic Mia on my blog! I'd love it if you could check it out on my blog. You can gain up to 10 entries! Here’s a link xxhttp://daisy--meadow.blogspot.com/2012/02/giveaway-clarisonic-mia.html
Nope, they did a running commentary on twitter when I tweeted that someone did it. Don't think they are a person I'd like to talk to. Like, why would someone do that? They said that codes are free for use, but my content isn't free surely? They can paste the codes (or don't be lazy and google them themselves) but they could have removed anything mentioned my blog name as soon as they put it live would be great. xx
ReplyDeleteLove your style when it comes to home interior.. exactly the same as mine! :-)
