My desk space
I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).
Giveaway
I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...
Stella
I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...
New in: Newlook wedge boots
I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.
Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

Celine Inspired: Aldo Handbag
I'm now off on a quest to find a dress for NYE. Don't want something too OTT. Think we're just going to spend it in a pub or something. Only got Newlook and Dorothy Perkins in my local town though so hopefully I can find something there otherwise I will have to trail else where. May have a nosey at some sales too although payday isn't till Febuary so I'm going to have to stretch myself.

Decisions: Urban Decay Naked Palette 2
As the Naked 2 Palette release date in the UK becomes upon us, your probbaly alike me and you are debating whether to purchase it or not. I actually don't have the original one. I wanted it for a while after seeing so much hype upon it but I managed to focus on other eyeshadows. I started getting more interested in the MAC Eyeshadows. And of as lately I have been happily using my MUA Heaven and Earth Palette which is a bargain of a price. When I saw release dates and stock pictures of the Naked 2 Palette it reminded me of the original and how much I once had it. Again I've been looking at blog posts and lusting after the palette. I think watching MakeupbyTiffanyD's video comparing the both made me want either of them even more. Now I'm not one for matte eyeshadows. I love a bit of shimmer on the eyes and of course I love nude colours. So the obvious palette to choose would be the original one. But now with all the hype of the new one I really want that one. I think the packaging of the original for me the original palette looks nicer. Although I love the shade of the Naked Palette 2 and that would probably last longer and be easier to maintain being clean. Also the Naked 2 Palette comes with a full size mirror in the lid unlike the smaller size in the original. So I'm going to try and ignore the packaging. (Although I am a sucker for packaging).
In the original palette the colours I have always lusted over are Sin, Half Baked and Toasted. Although, I could probably match them to some eyeshadows I already own. The original palette seems to have a lot of shimmer and less matte colours.
The stock photo of the Naked Palette 2 shows a range of Matt eyeshadows but after looking across blogs I've seen that's not the case. Obviously Half Baked is a shimmer, like in the original. There seems to be some good highlighting shadows in the palette as well as a matte black. I actually don't own a matte black. Again looking at the packaging it comes with a Brush. And a good quality brush it looks. This would be perfect for when travelling as it fits nice and compact together. As well as it being double sided. It also comes with a lip gloss which I'm not too excited about.
I was going to ask for the Naked Palette for Christmas but decided against it once news of the second one came about. If you wasn't lucky enough to receive a pr sample it's worth giving it a quick google to see some swatches and looks that have been created with it. As you know it has already been released in the US and is out of stock on the US Urban Decay stockist website. So if that is anything to go by this will probably be as big of a hype as the original. It's been over a year since the first was released and it is still the most blogged about palette. I can remember trying to find it in stock some where but never did. I then gave up.
It is released in the UK January 9th on Debenhams website or February 6th in stores. I may wait till February and treat myself just after payday. But I think I want a nosey at it in person first. But who's kidding I will probably buy it anyways. Are you going to be purchasing the Naked 2 Palette or staying with the original? Or not at all?

Review: Nars Powder Blush in Orgasm
I've seen a lot of swatches and pictures of this blush on various skin tones and I think it really does work for every one. I can wear it in the day time without it looking too much and the staying power is amazing. I had it on all day on Boxing day and it was still looking the same as when I applied it when removing it at night. I love the dewy look on skin and this gives you the perfect sheen on your cheekbones. When wearing it I stay clear of highlighters to make the look more natural. Although the glitter in the blush isn't in your face. The glitter is the perfect size.
This is definitely going to be a staple in my makeup collection and I'm having a browse already for more Nars Blush shades. I would also like to try the Nars Multiple in Orgasm.

Christmas: Ginger Bread Houses
Just a quick post. I've been really busy with last minute things for Christmas. I'm off to finish my Christmas Shopping tomorrow. Getting up super early.
Yesterday, me and my sister decided to make gingerbread houses. Mine collapsed in a few seconds while my sisters actually managed to stay put. Think I went OTT with the mini party rings and icing oops! Hope everyone is enjoying the festive holiday <3

Zara Star Printed Shirt
It doesn't feel like a Sunday today. I'm really liking the feeling that I'm not at work tomorrow. That must be it. Going to go do some Christmas shopping with the parents and get some food shopping in as I think we have ate the cupboards dry. I have my sister staying up till Christmas so we're going to be doing some baking. We're definitely going to be doing a bake off with Gingerbread Houses! I can't wait.
Lush: Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
I finished work for Christmas on Friday so I've been trying to relax although I'm stressing out over buying Christmas presents. Only a week to go! I used my Candy Mountain bubble bar which I received as in my gift box from my Blogger Secret Santa. It has been sat in my bedroom with some other treats and I couldn't wait to use it. Along with two magazines I ran my bath with my bubble bar. It is really creamy and moisturising. The pink part of it dissolves tinting the water and then the white part takes a while but foams nicely. I love the smell and can't believe I haven't tried it already. It is vanilla and candy scented which is my two favourite smells.
Unfortunately, I had to get out the bath early as the bath began to leak downstairs into our kitchen which has become a bit of a disaster now. Our carpet on our landing is damp and has puddles as well as water has been pouring down to our kitchen. Luckily we noticed a slight leak the other week and moved our kitchen table to the other side of the room. So luckily nothing was ruined. With my candle lit bath I began to become relaxing untill that happen. Oh well looks like I'm going to have to stock up of Lush goodies ready for when a plumber comes and fixes it. At least I have my Snow Fairy Shower Gel for now. If your after a moisturising Bath product I definitely recommend Candy Mountain. Some products dry my skin out but this definitely didn't (well in the amount of time I was in the bath!).

H&M Glitter Bow Hair tie
Although I rarely wear my hair up when I have been I've loved putting in one of these Glitter Bows from H&M. Isn't it cute? I wore it the other day with my hair in a high pony tail and loosened the sides up to make it look a bit messier. It spices up an original hair style. They was only £1.99 too. Not bad really. I love the accessories department in H&M. They always have some really cute things.

Video Post: New in
Look: Bright lips
I'm not usually the one to brave a bright lip but I think it's a really easy way to brighten up my face. As I'm super pale a nude lip has been making me look really ghostly so I fancied trying a bit of colour. This shade is just a Lipstick from ELF's range in the colour 'Gypsy'. It's the perfect bright pink with purple undertones. The lipstick is really long lasting too. Obviously really moisturising lipsticks feel great on the lips but they have poor staying power. I often reach for the glossy ones but a good matte lipstick can last on the lips so much longer. This lipstick is in between matte and glossy but it isn't very moisturising. But, it doesn't dry my lips out either. So it's perfect for my lips basically. I want to add some brighter colours to my lipstick collection. Although, I'm after the perfect daytime pink colour. Not super bright but not nude. The nearest shade in my collection is Mac's Creme Cup. So if anyone has a favourite pink lipstick please let me know!

New in: Topshop Leather Jacket
I'm happy to see the list of what presents I need to buy getting smaller and smaller. Although, I love Christmas shopping. My sister is the easiest to buy for so I need to slow down on picking things up for her. Oh dear. Even managed to sort out the awkward brother and boyfriend. Now to sort my Dad and Grandad out. Oh the joys.
Christmas Wish List
I also would like various perfumes. A few to name are Victor & Rolf Flower bomb, Vera Wang Love struck and Ghost Cherish. There's so many more I want but they are my favourites. I love getting perfume for Christmas.
Usually I have a long list of makeup I want but this year I've been naughty and ordered a few bits on behalf of my boyfriend. Otherwise I think he would be clueless. And they were with the Debenhams 15% off offer. So couldn't not. I would love the Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronze universal but it seems to be out of stock on a few websites so that's unlikely. Another beauty product I've been wanting is the Urban Decay Naked Palette. But now the Naked Palette 2 has been released in the US I think I'll wait to the UK release in January for that one. Although, after looking at different reviews I think I still like the original.
I'm hopeing to get a Filofax this year. I think it would be something really handy to have in my handbag to keep my life organised. And of course the Beyonce' Tour DVD for her new album. Watching her on ITV last week reminded how much I love her.
I've out a few other things on the wishlist like the Clarasonic Mia. I've decided to wait till the new year for this. It's on the ASOS website so I'm hopeing I can get some Student Discount off it. Now I've got a Student card again. After two years of using one I forgot how useful they were. Found out the other week that I can still have one as I am doing an Apprenticeship. So that made me very happy. I can look out for all the ASOS Student discounts again!
I've feature some Soap and Glory products but I think I'll wait till the new year when Boots usually have the big pack of them on offer. Look at me trying to save money. But, January is my first proper pay packet from my new job. I did an Apprenticeship in Sales but then half way through it the Administrator left the company so I luckily got swooped into that position and now been offered the full time job. I'm currently living off one wage between two of us. An apprenticeship wage isn't great. But it's paid off. Going to be having a good splurge in the new year. Although, that may be just a new kettle and toaster! haha.
