My desk space

I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).

Giveaway

I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...

Stella

I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...

New in: Newlook wedge boots

I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

Wants: Topshop Winter Warmers

So strange for it to be so dark when I finished work today. Yes.. I'm 18 I should be use to this now, but it was strange. With christmas coming upon us I can help myself but to start looking for what presents I'm going to buy and decorations for my house. This is by far my favourite time of the year. Just spent some time browsing Topshop's website, as you do. It may look like Topshop has spurled up on my post but I just love everything. And how cute are the socks?! And don't let me start on the pyjamas! I love the jacket but not sure on the buckle at the bottom. I just can't seem to find the perfect jacket at the moment. A few of you have told me that Primark have a Faux Leather Biker Jacket but with my long arms and 5ft 11 frame I'm not confident it will fit.
I'm basically planned out what I'm buying everyone for Christmas already. I just need to get on it and buy it all. I'm even taking part in two Blogger Secret Santas. Having done anything like this before but thought the idea was lovely.
Now to cuddle up to watch Eastenders and corrie. And then finally look forward to Made in Chelsea. It's got surprisingly good lately!

Review: Famous by Sue Moxley Baked Bronzer

Superdrug seem to be selling off the Famous by Sue Moxley range so thought I'd show you what I picked up a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I managed to break it or brought it broken but it still does it use. It is a perfect baked bronzer powder. Now the winter is here I need something to brighten up my face. As I am quite pale I need some colour from time to time. I find that fake tanning through the winter months isn't practical as I'm usually all wrapped up. Obviously, when I go out I will apply it but not everyday. I find it much easier to dust some bronzing powder on my face. This helps my face have colour with out that 'orange' look.  I find a lot of bronzers to have chunky glitter in them and it's hard to find the perfect in between matte and shimmer. This is perfect. It comes in a few shades and I obviously have the lightest but worth picking up if your in Superdrug shortly as mine is heavily discounted them. Hopefully it means that they are having a re-vamp not discontinuing the brand completely. It is a really good affordable drugstore brand and would be a shame.

Makeup Look

I first started off with moisturising my face. For this I use Oiltum. Oiltum works really well under my makeup making it last well and not making my face greasy. I find when I've used some moisturisers under my foundation it makes my makeup seem like slide off. So this one works perfectly. I've filed in my eyebrows already as I didn't fancy taking some pictures of the face without, haha.
Now onto foundation. I used Revlon Photo Ready and a little bit of MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I didn't use a lot of makeup as I didn't think I needed it. As you can see it covered the redness of my face. This was because I just cleaned and exfoliated. I used Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade 02. This is amazing at covering my under eye circles which I seem to suffer with. I also used it on any problem areas.
I then contoured using Sleeks Contour Kit in Light. I've has this for a while and have only just hit pan. I contour my cheekbones and around my temples. I then used MAC's Lady Blush on the upper apples of my cheeks and blended it out. I add it high up my cheeks and blend it out to give a more natural look.
For my eyes I applied MAC's eyeshadow in 'All that Glitters'. I love this because it brightness your eyes up without looking too glitzy. I used a deep brown shade from the MUA Heaven and Earth Palette in the crease to create more definition and then used a NARS Creme eyeshadow in Cayenne at the outer corners and blended out.
As I have brown hair I don't worry too much about my eyelashes. I just want to add volume. I curled my eyelashes with standard eye lash curlers and then gave them a coat of the Topshop Mascara. I then added a bit of Loreal Super Liner in Carbon Gloss to try and extend my eyelashes outwards. This is because I have quite small eyes and want to open them up. I then add a final coat of mascara to build up the volume.
I finish my adding a illuminating cream from Superdrugs Vitamin E Range. I use to use this under my foundation but found that it works best over it. I also added the highlighter from the Sleek Contour Kit around the corner of my eyes and down the centre of my nose.
Finally, I slapped on a bit of MAC's Creme Cup.

This post looks rather materialistic, but jus wanted to show some of my favourite things. Although I do wish my quilted handbag was the real Chanel deal, maybe one day. Been spending last night and this night sorting through clothes and accesories. I've managed to put some up on Ebay hopeing I can sell some of my never worn things. Selling some Topshop, Newlook Dorothy Perkins etc. clothes. Including some jewellery and makeup storage. Going to add more tomorrow. I hate having things hanging in my wardrobe with the labels on with no belief that I will wear it. Seems a waste. I'm in definate need of a big shopping spree. I've spent the last how many months buying things for my lovely house and making it feel like it's 'mine'. I'm nearly there with the decoration. Need to get some Autumn/Winter clothes although my bank balance does not agree!

Wants: ASOS

Wanting to get these pretty things from ASOS. I've been looking at their dresses through their 'Find your perfect party dress' where all the dresses are £35 and some even less! Looking for a new handbag and think I'm going to have to get the one from Zara which I wanted a few weeks ago. Hopefully pick it up at Meadow Hall next week. Half way through the week now. Not long till the weekend. <3

Wants: American Apparel Suede Carry-All Pouch

How cute are these from American Apparel? I really want one in 'brandy' or 'grey' with a gold zip detail. I've seen them around the Internet lately and wish I could get one. The simplicity is so pretty. Just wonder what outfit I would use it.

Metallic Nails: Barry M Nail Effects Foil in Gold

Been meaning to try out these Nail Polish for a while now. I stopped myself buying the silver as well as I think I would wear the gold much more. It's so easy to apply and drys in an instant. It's perfect for the metallic trend which is in this season. May have to get the silver now to co-ordinate with different outfits.

Organisation: Nail Polish

I've spent the day organising my makeup and accessories today. Had a real sort out of my nail polishes. Didn't realise how many I had which were empty or dried up. Now I'm left with a small collection including some of my all time favourites. Realised that I buy too many  Barry M Polishes. I've thrown loads away and I'm still left with 12. I don't even really wear that many of them often. Need to work on that. My favourites are a nude polish from ELF. This is perfect when I don't want my nails to stand out. It's a pinkey, nude. Imagine MAC's Lipstick in 'Hue' but in nail polish form. Another favourite is Barry M's Peach Melba. I have two of these. I can't remember how many of them I went through this summer. My new favourite is Model's Own 'Pink Fizz'. I'm about to paint it on my nails as I speak, (well type). And then Nail's inc 'Hempstead heath'. This is the perfect deep red. Think I got it free with a magazine or Diet Coke.
I've stored these in the two draws in my dressing table.

MORE MUJI ACRYLIC STORAGE: UPDATE

Thought I'd show how my makeup storage is looking now. I planned on getting a refund for the parts of the MUJI Storage which came broken and I emailed them and they said they would refund me but never did. Last week they sent me some more drawers in the post, which I didn't mind as I would have had to purchase them again anyways. So overall I'm pretty happy. I've managed to hide the broken parts and have them in the middle and now I can properly use it. I still have some more Lipsticks to put in and I've left gaps for where things I'm going to buy tomorrow are going (oh dear).
Love being able to keep everything organised and I can't forget about anything as I can see it all! Some people may find them to look messy but if you keep everything in order I think it looks super pretty. The rest of my room is very minimal so I think that adds to it looking like it isn't cluttered. I'm now off to finish hoovered downstairs (ohhh domestic) and then organise my moisturisers, tools and accesories in my drawer of my dressing table.

Want: Glitter heels

ASOS Wedges, River Island Wedges, ASOS Platform Heels, ASOS Wedges, KG Elizabeth Platform Court, Topshop Platform Court

I seriously need to get some glitter/sequin heels. Some people may think they will look tacky but I think if they are paired with someone not OTT then they will be fine. I really like the River islands ones but oh my the heel. I would be about 6"5 in them! Oh dear. If anyone sees any glitter wedges with a smaller heel which wouldn't make me look like a giant, drop me a comment! I'm loving the metallic and glitter trend which is in for Autumn/Winter and can't wait to start adding it into my wardrobe.

Nelly.com

Nelly
I really think I should stop looking at things to buy on the Internet. I seem to have a mental list in my head of what i 'need'. Really liking their dresses they have on their website. I have numerous book marked wanting to buy. I reckon I'll have to buy myself a sparkly dress or sparkly shoes soon! They seem to be everywhere. Is that a good thing? I'm about to order my Glitter iPhone 4S Case. I'm wanting something a bit OTT! Haha. So tomorrow couldn't go quick enough. Really looking forward to a lazy weekend (like normal). Counting down the days till payday as my bank balance just doesn't stretch far enough.

Hair inspo: Cheryl Cole

My hair is in some urgent need of a trim. I feel like it is being really dragged down so going to book myself an appointment for the weekend. Been looking at different styles and have been really liking the look Cheryl Cole has been sporting recently. Wasn't too keen on the blonde at first but now i love it. Although I'm not going to dramatically change my hair colour I wouldn't mind my hair looking slightly like Cheryl's. My hair has slight curls to it naturally so it wouldn't be hard to style. Although, it looks like Cheryl's hair is longer on one side? Or is it that she has it behind her ear? It looks lop sided. But i strangely like it! What do you think?

Wants: Autumn

Star Print jumper - Topshop, Button back Jumper - Topshop, Pleat Skirt - H&M, Coated Black Skinny Jeans - Newlook, Grey Snood - H&M, Snake print Leather Jacket - Dorothy Perkins, Nail Polish - Topshop, Nail Polish - Models Own, Suede Chelsea Boots - Topshop

Hoping payday would come quickly so I can properly hit the shops. Going out to work today with no coat wasn't such a good idea. I want a log sleeved Leather Jacket. Can only seem to find 3/4 sleeved ones at the moment. Trying to venture and get some jeans soon. I have none! Love the coated ones in Newlook. I really want these H&M ones but don't think my figure would pull them off. I'll try them on though and see. As always Topshop's knitwear wins me over. The star print is so cute! Oh and I've never been one for the Chelsea boots.  I wasn't too sure on them but I love the Topshop ones with the flatter heel and in suede. Just seen the glitter versions and If I could pull them off I would! Reckon my wardrobe will need a spring clean before I go spending.
Need to make some serious room! Just catching up with the Kardashians at the moment. About to watch the wedding! <3 And I'm really looking forward to Made in Chelsea tonight. Last weeks was really good! Wish they did two episodes a week like TOWIE.
Any one know any good apps for the iPhone? Having a scroll through loads at the moment and reckon I'll fill my memory up shortly with so make un necessary apps.

New in: Primark Knitwear

Picked this up in Primark yesterday. Is it just me or has anyone realised that Primark really has done done hill lately? Usually I'm excited to see what they have in but I was really disappointed. I don't mind the prices going up on some things but seriously. I'd rather shop somewhere else for better quality and pay a few quid more. But anyways... I loved the look of this jumper. I like how it fits as it's a different shape than I usually go for. Hopefully going to be pairing it with some jeans which I've got my eye on with a leather jacket and scarf to keep warm in this cold weather! It's unreal how cold my feet are at the moment. But I love it! Can't wait to start layering my clothes up.

favourite things

Thought I'd show some things that I've been loving recently. Starting with my iPhone 4S which I was so so excited about. Been playing around with all the features all weekend. I love just talking my text. Although people would think you look a little crazy. But hey. Also loving Paco Rabanne Lady Million. I'm so glad I brought the biggest size as I use it so much. About to jazz up my nails a little with Models Own 'Pink Fizz'. Although I find it chips super easy. Going to be careful with how much top coat I put on as I think that may be to blame. The Topshop mascara has got better since it has dried out a little. It instantly defines my lashes and gives them volume. What more can you ask for! And of course I have brought out my MAC 'Lady Blush'. Now that I can see what makeup I have with my MUJI Acrylic drawers it makes it so much easier not to lose makeup products and forget I had them. I actually got a surprise parcel on Saturday. After received to lots of drawers broken I was going to get a refund as they said they wouldn't be in stock for over a month but I received another two sets of drawers with the lid. Although I only wanted one to have a lid and the other to be normal, but can't complain. They came in one piece as well with plenty of bubble wrap! Now to watch X Factor. <3

Wants: Dorothy Perkins Dresses

Having a quick search over the internet for where to get a dress for tomorrow night. I'm likeing dorothy perkins dresses at the moment, and as my town only consists of Newlook, Peacocks, Dorothy Perkins and TkMaxx for womans clothing I'm a little stuck. Origanly wanted something long sleeved but think I'm going to head straight to Dorothy Perkins first. That's if I get chance as I'm waiting in for a parcel. Thank god it's the weekend though <3

Interior: My living room

Just some photos of my favourite things in my living room. I was going to picture my bedroom but after lounging out on my new sofa thought i'd show you this room first. It will never be completly finished as I will constantly change things and sorry for the strange angles, wanted to cut out all the PS3 games etc. haha

saturday night

This is my plan for the rest of the evening and of course X Factor! Spent the day relaxing after a busy week at work. May add some pictures of my bedroom tomorrow although it isn't quite finished but it's getting there. Pre ordered my iPhone 4S so hopefully that will arrive next week. Stupidly excited to recieve that and my new sofa is coming on Monday! God I hate waiting. Now I'm off to go cook a pizza for me and the boyfriend then settle down for X Factor. I really do plan my evening around X Factor too much. Loving the twist though that they send one of their acts home. It's something different. Hope your all having a lovely weekend <3

Review: Collection 2000 Cream Puff in 'Fairy Cake'

I suffer from dry skin, dry lips the lot so when something has the word 'matte' on it I try to stay way clear! Collection 2000 released some new lip creams to their collection not long ago. They describe them as being 'moisturising' so thought I'd pick one up to have a try. I love the formula of this stuff. It goes on all velvety and creamy. Even wears off the lips without forming small cracks. I got one in the colour 'Fairy cake'. Mostly because in the Superdrug I was in all the rest had been opened and this was the only one which look un touched. It is a lovely coral colour. It's not a super bright coral once on the lips. I would say it is more muted. I like the idea that it is a lip cream. Basically it is between a lipstick and a lipgloss. At only £2.99 each I'm going to have to pick up the other shades.
