My desk space

I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).

Giveaway

I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...

Stella

I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...

New in: Newlook wedge boots

I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

Want

Payday is soon to arrive and I already know what I'm going to get. Although, I do need to start saving money. But hey ho! Autumn is probably my most favourite season for clothing. Although I love the weather in the summer I seem to have never ending wish lists of clothing in the colder months.
I always adore Topshop's jewellery and these cheetah earrings really stood out. I like how they are a little different than just studs.
I'm also after a new lipstick. Maybe not the shade in the image but there is a Topshop shade lipstick that I'm after, but I don't remember what it's called and can't find it on the website. As well I caught up with X Factor today as I went out for a meal last night. Kelly Rowland is by far my favourite judge. I love her clothing, hair and makeup. She was wearing the perfect shade of lipstick on part of the auditions so I'm currently finding out what brand and shade it is. It was the most perfect pinkey purple.
Models Own currently have 50% off their website from reaching 50,000 likes on Facebook when using the promotional code 'FIFTYFIFTY'. I think it lasts till midnight monday so may wait till tomorrow to place my order as I just can't make my mind up. I love Models Own Nail polishes and find that they last so much longer than other brands on my nails. I really cant resist picking up some on offer. So far I want Pink Fizz, Concrete mixer and Vintage Pink. I'm going to get a Wah Art pen too to attempt some patterns on my nails.
I've always loved Topshop jumpers and I adore this bobble one from Topshop. It even has a cute little bow on the back.
After purchasing some new wedges which arrived on Friday I am now on the search for the perfect platform heels. The topshop Mary Jane Platform Heels are stunning. May treat myself.
Totally out of my budget at the moment but are still beautiful are the Kurt Geiger Platform Glitter Court Shoes. Priced at £140 they are quite reasonable but my bank balance will think otherwise and I cant justify them against how many times I would have the chance to wear them.
And finally, I'm about to finish decorating my bedroom and I'm going to put in an order for some MUJI Storage. I've planned my whole bedroom out and going to be getting the boyfriend to put some shelves up in the week. I'm hopefully going to go and get a dressing table from TK Maxx in the week.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend. I'm spending it watching the football. My boyfriend seems to think that he is in the crowd and keeps getting excited and making me jump! I'm getting up early tomorrow to go to a car boot sale. I haven't been to one for a few months. Hopeing to find some lovely things. Oh and I managed to get hold of a MUA Pro Palette in Heaven and Earth. I got to go to the Superdrug which had loads stocked and was open this time!

New in: Suede Platform Wedges

I'm so glad these arrived for the weekend. They are super comfy and fit perfectly. Going to spend the rest of the night watching tele and maybe order a chinese. I'm currently browsing clothes on the internet. Anyone get the moment when you seem to hate every clothing item you own?! Well I'm in the situation at the moment. Would love to go shopping if it was near payday but it isn't. Looks like I'll have to add to me on going wishlist. I'm looking forward to a long weekend. It's much needed. Hopefully sell my dressing table on sunday and going to buy another from TKMaxx.

Brought: Platform Wedges

Just brought these wedges from a seller on Ebay. I was going to purchase my Newlook wedges which my dog chewed up but changed my mind when I saw these. I really like the style from the front. I can think of so many things to wear them with. I definately need to grow on my shoe collection. I would love to splurge on these wedges from River Island but my bank balance would not agree.

I have been trying to get hold of MUA's eyeshadow palette from the Pro range but it never seems to be in stock online. I even sign up to get an update when it's back in stock and I recieved an email and immediately clicked on it and it said it was still out of stock. Surely it didn't sell out in a few seconds?! I headed to a town about 45 minutes away at the weekend and try to go to the Superdrug there as on the website it says they stock them but the store was shut as it doesn't open sundays!! So, I was really disappointed.

Kardashian Makeup storage and Dressing Table

I've decided to get rid of my dressing table. I'm about to finish decorating my bedroom adding tons of photo frames and lots of white shelves and decided i want a smaller dressing table. I also want my makeup to be more compact and not spread out. I know this may involve me sorting through it all. I hope I don't change my mind as it took me so so long to find it. I've added it onto EBay sell quick enough for me not to change my mind as I still love it. tonight so hopefully it will
One of my favourite programmes is Keeping up with the Kardashians. I can re watch episode after episode. I seem to be able to do this with shows such as 'The Hills', 'The City', 'TOWIE' (which starts again soon!!). As you may know their makeup storage is in acrylic drawers and it looks so neat. I've seen on other blogs people with the MUJI storage but for some reason I've never wanted them before. I'm going to order some and start making my collection more compact. I think I might keep them on shelves and keep my dressing table clear with a few perfume bottles etc. This is all depending on not changing my mind. I saw a stunning dressing table in TK Maxx the other day for around £200. It was incredibly smaller than mine and had just one draw, but I think that is what I need.
Hopefully I can sell the dressing table and start organising everything again. I can't wait to get my bedroom finished. I much needed Ikea trip will happen shortly.
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.

Chewed up heels and feeling under the weather...

Havent had a very good week so far. My dog managed to chew two pairs of shoes up. One I haven't even worn yet. They were these. I must admit I was gutted to say the least. Now I've come down with a cold so I'm in agony with headache, ear ache etc etc. I've also been trying to sell my sofa. So I've surfed the internet tonight looking for places to advertise it such as gum tree, preloved and friday ad. Hopefully with any luck I sell it so I can get the sofa I want and continue dcorating. I was meant to be going to Cornwall at the end of September for a week. I've booked it off work and everything, but we've only just come around to looking to book somewhere and there isn't much to choose from. Been looking to go back to St Ives which i love. I've seem to left it last minute. Hopefully I can find somewhere soon. For now I'm going to spend the rest of the night cuddled up catching up with some blogs.

New in: H&M and Primark

Tassel Keyring - H&M £3.99, String bracelets with gold bar - H&M £2.99, Peach Charm String Bracelet - Primark £2.00,  Gold Armour Ring - Primark £2.50, Precious Stone Drop Earrings - Primark £2.00

These are a few things I picked up when I went shopping last weekend. The jewellery in H&M is amazing at the moment. I did want nearly everything. I brought quite a few bits of jewellery for my sister who's birthday is this Saturday. I originally wanted the blue precious stone earrings in pink but they only had the blue left. They are so pretty to wear with your hair down. I'm not a massive fan of the dimante' but love the stones and the detailing on the chain.

Topshop Cream Blushes in Head over Heels and Flush

L Flush R Head over Heels

Topshop Cream Blushers are so easy to apply. They apply as a cream formulation but finish as a powder. This makes them have staying power. They don't budge on my cheeks. I already have two other shades and had to pick up another. They are easily able to make look natural or you can build the pigmentation up for a more dramatic colour. 'Head over Heels' has to be my favourite. I love coral colours on my cheeks and this is the perfect muted peach. For £6.00 each they are so affordable.

New in: Newlook Platform Wedges

Newlook Platform Wedges

These must be the most comfiest heels I own. I saw this on top of a stand in Newlook and had to have them. They only had them in a size larger than what I am but luckily they fit perfect. As they have a platform they feel like your are walking on a small heel. I just couldn't resist.

Review: MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural and MAC Studio Fix Fluid

If you're anything like me you will always be looking for the 'perfect' foundation which matches your skin texture and shade. For me I'm always trying new foundations and have gathered a collection of foundation which I just don't like. I have others which are 'OK' but only a couple which I like. For day to day I usually use Revlon Photo Ready, as I have dry skin and it makes my face look dewy. I also like Revlon Colour Stay although it is really heavy. Lately another Drug store foundation I have been liking is Bourjous Healthy Mix. This smells divine but it doesn't do anything for my skin. I have sensitive skin and it looks fine once applied but throughout the day it goes patchy and lately it has broke me out.
After running out of my MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural I decided it was about time to re-purchase. There isn't many foundations which I do re-purchase but I love everything about the powder. As I have dry skin I only want to add a thin layer of powder to set my liquid foundation. This is perfect for just lightly dusting over your face. It doesn't sit in your pores and lasts all day.
I'm also trying out MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I was in Meadow Hall yesterday and at the MAC Counter. I swatched the Studio Fix Fluid on my hand and saw how moisturising it was. It appears thick when your first apply but blends out thinly. I've read reviews in the past which suggest that the Foundation is a matte foundation. This has put me off previously but it gives me a dewy finish which I like.
The picture of me is after a day at work and it didn't budge at all. The image isn't the greatest quality but was took with artificial lighting. Working in an office makes my face even drier and patchy. I didn't even top any of my makeup up. I also have problems with getting the right shade for my face. I am quite pale but sometimes I over estimate how pale I actually am. I got the MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15. I thought this was be too dark as I feel ridiculously pale when I don't use any fake tan and with this foundation being the first MAC liquid foundation I have tried I was lucky enough for the shade being perfect. It really brightens up my face.

New in: Aldo Handbag

I seem to have so many handbags but it doesn't stop me buying more. This one is the perfect size. I was using my Faux Alexander Wang handbag but it's seriously like a black hole when you are looking for something. So I've decided I need to down size my handbag. I was originally getting this handbag from Topshop but Meadow Hall only had it in red or mustard. I didn't think either of the colours would match a lot of my wardrobe so I went in Aldo and found this one. I've seen it on the Internet previously but never thought about it again. I can now keep everything in a neat formation and it has magnetic sides so the top springs back keeping it quite sturdy. I've got a thing for tassels lately and before buying this pack I brought a tassel keyring from H&M. The gold detailing is more of a rose gold which I like.
