My desk space

I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).

Giveaway

I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...

Stella

I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...

New in: Newlook wedge boots

I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

New in

Just a few things I've picked up in the last week. First up is a oversized clutch bag. It's from Newlook and already the silver part of the bag has all worn away. I've used it once, which is a bit of a dissapointment. After sending back a handbag I brought online I'm starting to not trust Newlook bags. I'm going to stick to their clothes and shoes from now on.
Yesterday I went to TkMaxx and got a pretty Nina Campbell notebook. It will be perfect in my handbag as my other notepad is full. It was only £1.99. I'm hopeing my local TkMaxx stocks a few Nars products. They have smash box, Jemma Kid, Elf, and Eyeko. I've seen on a few blogs that they are stocking Nars Sheer Glow for £7.99 aswell as some eyeshadow duos. Mine doesn't seem to have any of as yet.
I've been lacking on the colour of my nails at the moment. So I picked up a coral colour from 17 at Boots.
As I haven't had payday as of yet I've had to purchse another Bourjous Healthy Mix Foundation and concealer. These both smell lovely. I use Revlon Colour stay for a full coverage foundation and day to day I wear Revlon Photo Ready but I've been wanting a coverage in between. Anyone reccomend any foundations? I'm planning on getting a MAC one, so if anyone has any reviews let me know.
I've been wanting Pacco Rabanne Lady Million for a long time now. I picked up the 80ml Bottle and it looks perfect on my dressing table. I've been wearing it constantly since getting it. Planning on getting the Vera Wang Love Struck after smelling it in Boots the other day. The bottle looks so so pretty.
Finally I've been using the VO5 Miral Concentrate Oil. It leaves my hair feeling so soft and manageable. It's worth a try if you haven't already.

Wants: H&M, Topshop, MUA Pro and Oasis

It feels like pay day today although I have to wait another week. I've basically spent my pay slip already just by looking at nexts seasons clothes on the highstreet. I recieved the H&M Autumn and Winter Catalogue in the post and I'm desperate to get there. I'm going Meadow Hall next week so have a mental wish list. I brought this handbag last week from Newlook but took it out the parcel and noticed stitching coming out the sides. I never thought anything about it and kept snipping it off with scissors untill I noticed there was no seam inside and it was all apart. Sooo... that is on it's way back for a refund. I saw the peach coloured bag on the Topshop website in the week and wish I brought it sooner. It's the perfect colour for the summer and I'm loving the peach colours at the moment. Although we're not having a very good summer here in England. I guess we already had it in May.
My sister ordered some MUA Pro products from Superdrug in the week and I'm desperate to get my hands on the new palletes. I've swatched hers and their the closest I think I'll get to the Naked Palette. They are never in stock when I want one.
The Oasis ring is more of a YSL Arty knock off. But I like how it is a little different with the coral matter stone.
I've been busy recently so I'll update with photos at the weekend. Hope everyone has had a lovely week.

WANT AND UPDATE

I am in need of some dresses for going out so I've been on the search for one tonight to pick up in my town tomorrow. I like the colour of this newlook one. It's basic but has the asymmetric panels on it. Knowing my luck they won't have it in my local Newlook even though it's a pretty big one.

I haven't posted a lot recently. I've been super busy with work and spent the whole of then night tidying my house, hoovering and dusting. I went to see Harry Potter in 3D wendesday night and it was pretty amazing! I wasn't looking forward to the end. If your anything like me and remember each time you went to the cinema to see a Harry Potter film you will feel my pain that it is the last one. I won't ruin for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but I think the ending was perfect.

I've got some ideas for my blog which I'm going to sort throughout the weekend. I need to order a tripod so that I can get decent outfit pictures. I got a new handbag ordered from Newlook in the week, i'll add pictures on sunday.

If you read my previous post about my diet style plan for healthy eating I purchased a Jillian Michaels workout DVD. I've done it 3 times this week. The first time went pretty well but the last time I did it I struggled and only did about half of it. I've tried to do it once a day so that I can really get into it, but I haven't had time. I'll attempt to do it more next week and make sure that I leave time.

WANT

I have been looking looking for a new everyday handbag recently. I have used my faux AW Rocco bag to death. I need a bag with a few compartments as I end up spending a good half an hour looking for keys and my card pass for work. I saw this bag on Miss Guided and was debating whether to get it or not. I originally wanted one from Aldo but they sold out. I kept looking at this bag constantly the other night and when I decided I wanted it, it sold out. So I'm waiting for it to come in stock un less I find a different one in the meantime.

I've put some clothing on Ebay this weekend. I've got lots more to add as well. The link is here if you would like a look. I've started with putting some ASOS, Newlook and Primark things on there. I'm getting fed up of the clothes in my wardrobe with tags still on what I'm not planning on wearing. Does anyone else have that? I even found clothes still in bags which I forgot about.

MY DRESSING TABLE

My long wait of having a Dressing Table in my new house is now over. You may have read in previous posts about how I was searching for a dressing table. I purchased this from a Charity shop. It's a Stag Dressing Table and was a dark oak colour. My boyfriend sanded it down and painted it white and then gave it a distressed look so it didn't look perfect as I wanted it to look worn. I love how it has turned out. I can fit all my makeup in the drawers with the reminder in my spare room in my old Makeup Chest of Drawers.
I can now sit down and do my makeup making it a lot easier. I have two boxes in which I have more of my Fine Jewellery. I still have more jewellery to hang on my jewellery tree and necklaces to go else where. My hand for my rings is looking pretty full an doesn't even have that many rings on it.
I'm now on the look out for little cute vintage things to have on the table. I picked up the mirrored jewellery box from TK Maxx and added a picture of a Blossom Tree into it. I also got the white box from Next and added a picture of a Blossom tree in it to match. I brough a letter rack from TK Maxx at the weekend so I can put my palettes in it, keeping them neat and easy to reach. I'm going to purchase a Rose Garland to hang around the mirrors also.

Making a change

I've finally decided that enough is enough and that I'm not happy with my body so I'm going to change it. I went on a diet at the beginning of the year, as most people do, but only kept to it for about 7 weeks. In them 7 weeks I lost nearly a stone but I'm sure I have put it back on again. I don't own any scales so I'm not going to be looking at how much I weigh. I don't have a clue how much I actually weigh at the moment. I'm 5ft11 and a size 12 in most shops but there is times where I am a size 14. But the size of the clothing isn't what matters to me. It use to be. But now that I'm into Fashion it is more about how the clothing looks on me. I know you have to dress for your body shape. I've learnt to do that. I love some parts of my body and hate other parts. Before I would never be able to say that I was happy with something about my body. I don't mind my stomach. It isn't anything I've ever worried about. I don't like my thighs or hips. They are the major parts of me which I would change.
I'm not doing a diet just because I want to be skinny. Although the media pushes pictures of skinny girls everywhere, that isn't what is wanting me to lose weight. I want to be happy in myself. I want to be fit. Last year, I damaged my back, twisted my spine, tilting shoulder blade and problems with my ligaments around my spine. This makes me weaker than I have ever been, making me the most un-fit I have been as I haven't been exercising. I tried swimming but I was in that much pain I wouldn't be able to manage it more than once a week. But hopefully I could improve by building myself up slowly.

Last night I purchased Jillian Michael's: Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism from Play.com. I had heard about Jillian Michael's on several diet Blogs about a year ago and how people incorporated the workout into their daily routine. I know by doing the workout it isn't going to make me lose tons of weight but it is going to introduce me to exercise again and as I work 9-5 it will be easier fitting it into my life. It should arrive tomorrow as I've been tracking it constantly (Yikes), but I do need to purchase a exercise mat.

I remember watching a few YouTube videos which people were talking about this book and it just made me want to read it. Has anyone else had a read?

So... Today I started my diet. I'm under taking the diet on my own level. I'm not going to cut everything I want to eat out straight away as that will make me want it more. I haven't had a snack today, which is something I've started doing since started my job. I have drunk a ton of water and a bottle of Pepsi Max. I can't cut out the Pepsi Max completely. I don't drink Hot drinks so It's a bit hard for me to drink something with more taste than water. I like sparkling flavoured water so I may stock up on them. Has anyone else been trying to diet recently? Or any fitness regimes?

Rimmel Day 2 Night, Avon Super shock Liner and Tight lining

Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara in 001 Black
Avon Super shock Liner in Black

I was in need of a new mascara to wear everyday. I have so many mascaras which are all pretty new but most of them seem to want to fall down my face when I'm at work. I work in a office so i needed something with didn't transfer around my eyes. I read a lot of good reviews on the new Rimmel 'Day 2 Night' mascara. It has two ways of applying the mascara. The night part of it is for the volume. It is a big brush and applys a lot of product onto it. The day part of the product is the same brush but as it pulls through the tube it takes off all the excess mascara so you can really get into your lashes in detail. I love the way the mascara applys. I start off applying the day one and separate all my eyelashes making them all long and then i finish with the volume, making them thicker as well as long.

I've in the past brought a lot of products which say they will do something but don't but this one does exactly what it suggests. In the photo of my eye (Yikes), I've also Tight lined my eye with eyeliner. I've used the Avon Super Shock Liner. It's amazingly black and stays on all day. I never need to top it up which makes it so much easier to wear than other eye liners I have. I haven't been one to tight line my eye. I have small eyes so I'm always looking for different ways to make my lashes look fuller without making them appear smaller. I usually line my lid with the Sleek Gel Liner but it doesn't seem to last as long and makes my eyes look smaller. I love how it makes my eyelashes look so much thicker without adding anything to my lid. This is going to be my new combination for my eyes and it's so quick and fool proof. It's going to be perfect for the early mornings I have throughout the week.

New in

Primark feather vest £3.00, Primark Sheer shirt £10

New in: Jewellery Matalan and Primark

Hamsa Hand Double Stone Necklace - Matalan £2.50, Triangle Studs - Matalan £1.50, Leaf stone - Primark £2.50, Black stone with Bird - Matalan £2.50

I always like to assesorise outfits with jewellery. Even if it is a simple necklace or a large pendant I like to have something. I think it always makes the look tie together. I've been wearing a lot of long necklace to work with a plain and simple blouse or top.
The triangle studs I have been trying to find for ages but they don't suit me when my hair is down but look perfect when my hair is up. I love Matalan for their Jewellery. They have a lot in which are current season at Topshop but for a lower price. I can't complain really!

New in

Grey Cotton Blazer - Newlook, Floral Shirt - Primark, Colour Block vest - Primark, Aztec Vest - Primark, Purple Pocket top - Primark, Peach and white detail top - Newlook

Sorry about the creases I didnt realise they were that bad after being in the bag. These are a few things which I picked up last month. I brought a few bits and bobs at the weekend but I'll show you this weekend as I'm off shopping as It was Payday today.

Wanting a change

 Lips Mac hue
Top Tesco Clothing

So... the battery charger has been found and now I have some pictures and can take more pictures. The top I'm wearing is from Tesco. I had never shopped on Tesco before but I think  got it for about £4.00. It was when they were having half price off all clothing so i ordered a bunch of things and was pleasantly surprised.
I'm getting bored with my hair at the moment. I've been growing out a fringe/side fringe for a while. I have a 'High forehead', but I didn't suit a full fringe. It just made my face look really round and I'm bored of the side fringe, so I'm experimenting. I love the look of a centre parting, having parts curled away from your face, but I just don't have the face shape for it. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know!
I love Mac's Lipstick in Hue and think it goes perfectly with the shape of the top.

New in

Sorry about the poor picture today. I haven't managed to find my battery charger for my camera. I did get my camera wire but now I can't think where I left the battery charger so untill then, here are my new shoes I picked up at the weekend. I went into Newlook and pick up these for just £9. They are nude and patent and this picture just doesn't do them justice. They are so comfy to wear and perfect for the summer which England are having at the moment. I also picked up a chiffon playsuit for £15 and a few bits and pieces from Primark, although not alot really stood out for me. I'm off shopping again this Saturday so hopefully I will be able to put pictures up tomorrow. Oh and the shirt I am wearing I picked up from Primark for £10. I originally wanted the nude/peach coloured one but they only had bigger sizes left.
