My desk space

I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).

Giveaway

I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...

Stella

I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...

New in: Newlook wedge boots

I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

Something I have been wanting for a while are crochet shorts. I've seen them a lot on Fashion blogs recently but have really struggled to get some. They kept popping up on the River Island website but never the size or colour. I'm currently looking for a new dress for the weekend (Yes It's monday, i know), and I came across them in the 'New in' section on the Newlook website. I'm going to get them in the black I think, don't think I can pull them off in the white as much as I'd want to.

I haven't been able to blog recently. I have loads of ideas of posts, but i keep forgetting to fetch my camera cable from my parent's. I will try and get it tomorrow. I did have a haul post, photos of my dressing table and some reviews on makeup but I will fit them in shortly. Now to enjoy the lovely weather we are having.

Wants: Alexander Wang Willow Structured Leather Bag

I really need this bag. I love the colour, how it's structured so it can keep everything neatly in it and the chain on the strap.

Update

I haven't been able to blog alot recently. I finished college last Friday, did my last shift at work on Saturday, and went shopping for my Brothers birthday presents on Sunday. I got him the one of the new aftershaves from Lacoste and it smells so so nice! Although, sadly on Sunday I found out that my mum's friend had died. She has been fighting with cancer for a while and she was ever so lovely.
I started my new job yesterday. It's my first full time job and I'm already so tired. I'm not doing a lot. I'm mostly ringing up businesses all day. I guess the work will pay off in the long run. I know now that I definitely want to work in the Fashion or Beauty industry. I want to work somewhere in which I thoroughly enjoy. But for now, as I have no money or transport this will do.
I've had to buy lot of clothes recently. I'll put some pictures up at the weekend or later in the week. I've recently found a few nice things at Primark and Topshop. I didn't think Primark had as much nice things as they usually do. I also put in an order at Tesco Clothing on Friday night. They was offering 50% off all woman's clothing, which did sound too good to be true. But it worked out super cheap. I received them today and don't have the energy to take them out the packets and try them on but I'm loving everything I got. Never brought any clothes from there before but I'm strangely impressed.
I'm now going to spend the rest of my evening catching up on 'Made in Chelsea' and programmes as such and get cuddled up with a duvet (although today the weather has been gorgeous!). Hope everyone had a nice weekend and nice beginning to the week.

Review: Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural

I first purchased this last Christmas when I was placing a MAC Order. I've read numerous reviews all over the blogging and YouTube community about it. Most of them all loved it while a few said it made them look shiny and greasy but as they had oily skin and I have dry skin I thought I'd give it a go as otherwise I'd never know. It contains Mineral particles which reflect light but it's very subtle. It hasn't made me break out and doesn't make my face cakey. This is hard to come across when you have such dry skin as anything usually makes my face look cakey and even more drier as the day goes on. This stays put and I never need to re apply it throughout the day. You can build up the coverage. I do this by changing the way of applying it. I use a fluffy face brush for a light coverage and for under my eyes I use a powder puff and press it to set my concealer, making my under eye bags dramatically disappear. I've always struggled with under eye bags. I think this is due to my sinus problems and I'm borderline short sighted so struggle to focus my eyes a lot.
As well as using it for a setting powder, it can also be used on it's own or over just concealer to even your skin tone out. I do this a lot when I'm not in the mood for a full face of makeup or I'm just lounging around my house. I've read that it can also be applied damp but I haven't needed to try this. The idea is that it gives a deeper coverage. I've also toyed with the idea of buying a darker shade to use for a bronzer and contour my face. I have it in shade 'Light', which is the very lightest. I think naturally I should be the shade darker but this tones down my liquid foundation and blends well together. I've has this for 7 months and until a few weeks ago, my lovely sister dropped it out my bag on wooden floor it looked like it had barely been touched. Now all that remains of it is a ring around the pan and the rest is in the bin after sweeping it up. I think it can easily break if not stored properly as it's such a soft powder. I'm just about to re-purchase this. It's one of my daily products which I think I will be sticking with for a long time. I have only just realised how much I rely on it. I'd love to purchase some of MAC's Mineral Skin Finishes. They always look so pretty when pictured.
For the price of £18.50, you get 10g of product and it does last me so much longer than any other powder I have purchased. Although It may cost a little bit more, I'm not purchasing it as often so it cancels the price out.

Today

This is what the rest of my day is going to look like... I have my final week at college this week, as well as finishing my job and starting a new one the week after. I have so much work to do. I've been shopping this morning and picked up quite a few lovely things and when I've finished my work I may do some internet shopping to treat myself. My phone is keeping myself sane at the moment, but I'm so glad I don't have to sit down and take exam although I've got so many essays and research to complete. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

New

I love this purse. I've needed one for ages and I was all set on getting this one, but they didn't have it in my local Topshop so I settled for this one but it's just as pretty. It's real leather but very soft so is perfect for what I need it for. I have so many cards and they all fit nicely in it as well as leaving room for change, vouchers and cash. It's showing up nearly tan on the photo's but it's actually a nude/mink colour.

Review: Primark Take a brow

This isn't the typical thing I purchase in Primark. Although I really like their home accessories and love having a look through what lovely things they have in, their makeup section hasn't always stood out. I previously purchase a Bronzer and Blusher Duo in the cardboard packaging edging on the copy of Benefit and I've hit pan on that. I didn't think it was any special though. But this stood out.
I like looking after my eyebrows. Although at the moment I've been wanting to changed them up a bit. Some says I think they are too square other days I think they are too small. Recently, I've been not liking using a Eyebrow pencil to fill them in. It's been making my eyebrows look too harsh on my face and I can't get away with leaving them as be as they are very sparse and have missing parts as well as not defined shape at the ends.
I've used this kit when I first brought it a few weeks ago but only really had a go with the eyebrow pencil, but yesterday I decided to try using the powders and really liked it. I didn't use the brush which came with it as it is to be honest a bit naft! But I couldn't expect anything different. The stencils are pretty good at creating a shape without looking too dramatic, just I wouldn't suggest what it says on the instructions to  outline your brows with the pencil. The tweezers are tiny but okay for the go. And finally the wax looks well. It kept the powders on my eyebrows when usually I use a clear MUA Mascara, but they both work as well.
Overall this is a nice product to have and might see what else they have in the range. Everyone seems to try and copy the whole Benefit products and at a smaller price it's hard not to want to try.
Has anyone tried any other products?

Filming: College work and wants

Finished my college work for the day and now It is going to consist of catching up with Eastenders, Britains Got talent and The Apprentice.
Really wanting to go shopping to freshen up my wardrobe but don't have to time. I want this, this and this. And with Topshop having 20% off for students at the moment, it's the perfect time. Although I may have to put in an order online. Oh I hate the waiting. I also need a new purse as I currently have a Primark one which is falling to pieces and cluttered. Not sure what one to go for. I might get a Vivienne Westwood one.

Filming

I'm spending the day filming a perfume advert for my College FMP. It's going quite well, although It's hard getting all my ideas transformed into one thing. It's a bit all over the place at the moment. I've got my sister to help me out. I'll add some screenshots once it is all finished. But I wish the weather was more sunny today. No blue sky here.
