My desk space

I'm finally happy with my desk space. I try to keep to a theme. I love white walls (and if you have been to my house you would pick that up pretty easy).

Giveaway

I've just reached 500 GFC Followers this week, so I thought I would do a Giveaway as a little thank you. I was a little un-sure on what to give away...

Stella

I previously mentioned in this post that I purchased 'Stella by Stella McCartney' in a box set in the Boots sale. I've been meaning to get this perfume ever since I smelt it - which I think could possibly be a good few years ago now...

New in: Newlook wedge boots

I've been wanting to purchase these boots from Newlook but since going back to my local store to purchase them they have only had size 6's which my big feet will not squeeze into. Whilst having a look for them I saw these wedge style boots.

Review: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I finally brought the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I really don't know what has took me so long. With so many amazing reviews on the product I really wanted to try it myself. This is also my first Liz Earle product.

New - Revlon Photo Ready Foundation, Batiste Dry Shampoo and Tangle Teezer

I picked up a few things in my town today. I've ran out of my Photo Ready foundation so picked up another. I love the finish of this and doesn't make me look cakey or dry out my skin like others do. I'm looking into a higher end foundation but want to maybe try some testers out as my skin is awful with some products. It's so sensitive and dry. Oh and after going swimming on Sunday I now have broke out from the chlorine. Great!!
I also got the Batiste Dry Shampoo with the hint of Dark Brown. Haven't tried this out yet but would be great for creating volume without there being all the white powder left in my hair.
And the Tangle Teezer is perfect! I've read a few reviews on blogs recently and decided to get one. I picked it in the neon pink (Maybe then I wont lose it easily!). I've suffered with my hair falling out badly for a while and the thought of brushing through it all the time puts me off. This glides through my hair not pulling too much but pulling enough to get knots out and make it smooth. It comes with a little booklet which is actually interesting. It has some lovely tips in there.
I'm filming at Perfume advert for my college work tomorrow. I've got so much to do, but need to get everything out of the way. Luckily I was able to take pictures in daylight today. Makes the quality so much better. I now have lighting and a tripod, so everything will be improved
Now... to go to sleep and catch up with sleep as I don't have work early tomorrow, not untill Thursday!

Sigma Cleansing and Polishing Tool

Just saw in my emails Sigma's new release, the Cleansing and Polishing tool. It retails at only $39.00 making it more afforable than the Clarasonic, which I've been eyeing up for ages. It looks really impressive with the storage case and three brushes. Reckon, I'll be putting in an order asap. Any one else heard any good things from this?

Update: Ramble and Twitter

The mess in the background is due to my little sister, it's our room when I stay at my parents

I'm feeling like my blog has came to a bit of a stand still at the moment. It feel it needs freshening up a bit. It wont be done to the end of the week though as I've got such a manic week ahead of me.
I managed to get the job for the Apprenticeship I went for an interview for! It is making me feel like I am getting some where in my life. Anyways... I start on the 13th of June and this week is half term so I have a week of half term and a week at college to get all my work done. I only have 2 days off work this week which is making it impossible so I better get organised. Hopefully everything pays off. I've just got back from swimming. You may have seen in previous posts I moan about my back. I damaged it when I use to be a Cheerleader and It's twisted and weak so I'm hopeing swimming will help me build up some muscles along with physio. I got into the pool and it felt so weird. I haven't been swimming since the beginning of secondary school. It was a bit daunting but I managed an hour of lengths and I'm in complete agony now, so I'll be off to bed.
Well enough of my ramblings. But I do have a twitter now. I haven't personalised it or anything yet but I'll get on it tomorrow before work. I feel the need of communicating with other bloggers as there isn't really any other ways. I don't like my hair in the picture. I do miss my long hair dearly, but hair extensions can fix that. Must admit it is in the best condition ever.
Leave your Twitter names for me to follow below please or follow me @Un_Observed
Hope everyones Bank Holiday weekend has been lovely so far, although I've been at work throughout, but thinking of the money!

Wants: Topshop

It's payday next week, half term and I've been offered the job I wanted! I finish college in a week and everything is looking up. I really want to treat myself. I'm loving a lot of things in Topshop! Well, I'm always loving things but I'm in such a good mood and I want everything. I'm off shopping next week to get some work clothes. Yikes. I don't know what to get, it's smart casual so I think a lot of pretty tops and some casual blazers are in order.
The peach Shirt is beyond stunning. Newlook had a similar one with gold buttons for cheaper but I can't seem to find it online. The Wedges are perfect and I really need an oversized purse. I have so many cards it's un real and I need something big to keep everything in so I'm never in a muddle at the till when paying. This purse would be perfect, if only they did it in a peach/nude colour? Maybe they do, I'll have to look.

Giveaway prize from Salut Sophie

Here's what I recieved in a giveway from the lovely Salut Sophie. I've finally got Peach Melba! Can't wait to paint my nails now but the wheather is making me wear dull colours. The earrings are adorable. And the eyeliner is so pigmented! I've done a post about the Sleek True colour Lipsticks and I'll show more swatches as soon as.

Sleek True colours Lipsticks in Peaches and Cream and Coral Reef

Firstly, I would like to appoligise for the quality of the photos. They were taken in artificial light and I used flash on the first swatch so it is more true to colour. But here are two of Sleek's True Colour Lipsticks. I've spent a few times looking at these at the stand but never was able to pick some colours. I recieved them with other goodies from a giveaway and love the colours which i got! First up was Coral Reef. It's a very true coral, and so close to red. It's really pigmented and really stays put to the lips. The other is Peaches and Cream. This is my favourite as you can see from my previous post. It's so creamy and pigmented and is so different. It would look great with a tan in the summer! They are both sheen's so they make your lips look really moisturised. I'm planning to pick a few more up from Superdrug next week. But it you haven't had a look at them yet, their worth it. Oh and the packaging is matte black and look's really pretty and sleek. Anyone have any other shades?

Sleek Lipstick in Peaches and Cream

Sleek Lipstick in Peaches and Cream

Recieved this in the post today. I wont a giveaway and recieved lots of goodies. This is gorgeous on. I like how it is in your face, because I usually play is safe!

Outfit

Batwing sheer pocket top Primark, Shorts H&M, Necklace Matalan

I'm very new to these outfit posts, but I really want to get into them. I keep meaning to buy a full size tripod. At the moment I have one of them desk mini tripods which I use for face portraits. But apart from that I have to struggle and I talked my sister into taking a few shots for me.
I have a pre-interview tomorrow for the apprenticeship I want. It's for a media company which design websites, leaflets and deal with advertising. Hopefully they will think I'm good enough for an interview!
I'm in love with these shorts even though I don't think they suit my figure but I will have to just grow some confidence from somewhere and stopped dressing so safe. The top is stupidly baggy but it's perfect for some high waisted shorts when I'm not having a thin day. Talking about getting thin, I'm about to start going swimming regularly. Although, I can't remember the last time I swam. I hope I remember! I've been meaning to do some sort of regular excerise for some time and now I've been told by my consultant that swimming will help alot with my back injury. So that's that.

Review: ELF Mineral Booster and Mineral Shadow

I've gathered quite a few ELF Cosmetics now, and their really good quality for their price. When browsing the website over a month ago now they had one of their many promotional offers on so I decided to pick up a few products that I havent tried. This mineral eye shadow was one of them. The packaging is very sleek and it opens up to a loose powder form. I apply with a basic Eye shader brush and I've on numerous occasions worn it all over the lid on it's own. It have glistens of shimmer through it but it's not too over powering. It reminds me of 'All that Glitters' by MAC but in a lighter shade. I find shimmering eyeshadows are perfect when your in a rush to just sweep all over the lid.
It is suprinsgly very pigmented and I love the application. You just have to make sure you don't pick too much on your brush, tapping any excess back into the pot. I can't wait to get my hands on a few more shades.
I've had the Mineral Booster in Shimmer for a while now. I've had to re use it recently due to my younger sister dropping my MAC Msf on her wooden floor, making it smash into pieces. I had forgot how good this product is. I apply my liquid foundation like normal and then use a large powder brush and sweep it lightly over it. I have dry skin so applying powder isn't too great for it, but this is so fine it doesn't cake your skin. Other loose powders I have tried have been too thick for me. This has tiny reflects of flitter in it as well but it's too over powering. As you can see from the bottom of the product I have half a pot left when considering there was 5.1g in it, it does last. I've seen they've added new shades/textures on the site now, so I will have to give some a try.

I also want to try ELF's Mineral foundation and concealer. And at the moment they have 50% off the Elements range, which is the eyeshadow and compacts. Worth having a look at...

Wants: Newlook

I've been loving all the sheer Blouses the Highstreet have brought out these last seasons. They don't seem to be growing old and me. I love these Newlook blouses which are in store at the moment. The first one I saw on Lydia from TOWIE. Yes, they all dress OTT but I find Lydia's clothes stunning.
The second blouse is gorgeous in white. All the white clothing in the season makes me want more. H&M have gorgeous white shorts but I'm on the look for some white tops. The lace detailing is perfect to transforming a basic blouse.
The third blouse is a muted pink which always goes nicely with a tan. And finally the purple blouse with the tie front is a lovely shade. I'm thinking of buying the first one for a job interview I hopefully will get. I managed to get a follow up discussion for my apprentice I applied for and then It will be decided if a formal interview will be arranged. I hope all goes to plan!
What do you think of the on going sheer blouse trend? I love it.

Oh and thankyou to Salut Sophie. I won her giveaway of a generous prize, can't wait to recieve the goodies in the post!

Review: Topshop Cream Blushes in Neon Rose and Butterscotch

When Topshop released their Makeup I was constantly looking at swatches bloggers were posting. The packaging was very different to other makeup brands with the scribble polka dot and white packaging.  And also the pricing of the range was very resonable so I couldn't wait to get my hands on some products. It took me a while to actually purchase a cream blusher but I finally got one (My local Topshop only stocks some nail varnishes and Lipglosses) and after picking up one of their cute lip balms in a pot I knew I needed to try out one. I ordered their blush in 'Butterscotch'. I use this as a blusher/bronzer, as unless I've fake tanned I'm stupidly pale so I apply it to the top of my cheek bones and blend it on. It is a cream to powder finish so does wonders to my dry skin without budging. It's the best of both worlds really. I finally got around to picking up another a month ago. I decided to go for the infamous 'Neon Rose'. This is a neon pink/coral and was nothing like I had in my collection. It's highly pigmented but light on the skin. This is my go to blush.
Another word on the packaging. Although, It's gorgeous It has got very grubby (As you can see).  It tried to remove some before photographing but as you can see It hasn't improved it at all. I want to purchase this, which is a baked blusher/bronzer duo and a few more of the blushers, definately.
I've used both of these for a while now, and as you only need to apply it with a light hand, they look hardly used.

Review: Natural Collections Creme Blusher In Rosy Pink

This has been at the back of my storage drawers for a while. My makeup is arranged in this Ikea draws, but It's being moved over to a dressing table very shortly. My makeup is arranged in the order Face, Eyes, Lips, Palettes etc. This blusher has been in the compartment at the back since buying it. All my other blushers and face products seem to be at the front leaving others un loved.
Today, I decided to change the arrangement of my face draw so I can use up some products which haven't seen the light of day for a while. I would start a Project pan but I honestly don't have a will power to stop buying new products which catch my eye.

I have a few Natural Collection Productions and for the price the quality of them are pretty good! I brought this blusher when they had the offer 3 For £5 which they regularly have on. This made me definitely get my moneys worth.

The product is creamy and highly pigmented. It's everything I'd want in a Creme Blusher. I apply it by putting it on the back of my hand and using a stippling brush, stipple it across my cheek bones. I love the colour and pay off of it. It's in shade 'Rosey Pink', but it verges onto the peachy golden side of pink. I'm definitely going to pick up a few more shades on offer now that I've re-discovered it.
