Weekly breakdown

1. I'm cutting back on what I eat. I want to lose a bit of weight, not alot. But I've decided to firstly cut back in sugary drinks. I'm going to slowly cut things out though. I brought myself a little notebook to keep track on what I eat. I'm not someone who snacks but I'm really trying to eat Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with a light snack in between lunch and dinner. I sometimes miss lunch out and only eat dinner. I'm also living off water. I never usually liked drinking it but I've really grown to it. I'm drinking loads!

2. I went and collected my Model's Own Kit with the two vouchers I collected from the 'Fabulous' magazine. I love everything, but have to use a eyeliner brush with the eyeliner as the brush is overally stiff. It has great staying power though!

 3. I end up buying too many magazines. My room is full of piles of them and a need to clear them out.

 4. I want to get into reading and I've just started reading Gok Wan's book this week.

5. As I've sorted my Makeup storage out, I wanted to get something pretty to store my jewellery. I already have a metal plaque on my wall which hangs off necklaces and bracelets and a wire mannequin stood in the corner of my room with long necklaces on but I needed something for my earrings. The is perfect. I haven't finished moving my earrings onto it yet. My rings are at the bottom but I'm deciding whether to buy Paperchase's Hand ring holder in black or creme. I might pick one up at the weekend.

Nothing really exciting has happened this week but I've been feeling really down. I don't know if it's the gloomy weather we are having or January blues, but I dont feel myself at all. I don't feel like doing anything. I'm hopefully going to cheer myself up with some Retail Theropy at the weekend when I get paid! :-)

This will always be my home

I thought it would be interesting doing a 'What's in my bag' type post. I love being nosey and seeing what other people carry around with them, so i thought i'd do one myself. I'm using my new camera now so i hope picture's are getting better quality but im still messing around with all the settings.

The post title is a little bit random but im listening to Ellie Goulding and I love the song 'Home', it's really relaxing.

I'm sure i've seen them before

Last week I was just looking around Matalan, I never buy anything but they have some really nice home things. I ended up looking at the jewellery they were offering as I've nearly really looked in the section before.

They look oh so similar to Topshop jewellery. I locked my eyes on this Leaf pendant just before Christmas but when I picked it up in my local Topshop it was broke and the only one left. So i settled for a different necklace. When I saw this in matalan I had to get it. It's nearly identical if not the same one!

I also picked up another long necklace with a ditsy rose on the end. I didn't realise untill going onto the Topshop website that it's again pretty identical to the Rose on chain necklace Topshop are selling for £7.50. I was able to pay around £1.50 for this as it was 70% off. I couldn't resist it and now it's a bigger bargain than I thought.

 

I also brought these two rings. One is s very 'Alexander McQueen' inspired skull ring which is adorable and a stone ring which I couldn't not get!

And finally I picked up this cluster neckalce which is similar to many other necklaces on the highstreet at the moment. I managed to get this for around £1.50 as it was 70& off. 

So if you're in Matalan anytime soon I'd highly reccomend going to have a look at their jewellery section. I wouldn't usually associate Matalan with having up to date Jewelllery but I'll keep going to see what they have in next.

2010 Favourites

It's a bit late but i wanted to post it up. Sorry if I say 'erm' alot but i didn't know quite what to say as it's my first video. It's seems really scary talking to a camera!!

I'm trying to get into posting more posts and maybe doing videos? Not sure. Tell me what you think!

I've been sorting out a lot recently. Completly changed my makeup storage. Had a trip down to ikea and brought a new chest of drawers so now everything is much easy to get to. Also sorted my jewellery out. Purchase an adorable jewellery stand which I will post pictures up soon...

I've also been trying to sort out what I'm going to do after finishing college. Finally decided that i didn't want to go down the whole University route, but it's left me at a dead end so I'm soon to be contacting people and looking for a job. I definately want a career in media. Hopefully in fashion or beauty.

Sale shopping fail

I only managed to buy two things in the sale. It might have been that the fact River island was over crowded and Topshop didnt have a very good sale or I missed all the good things. Nothing took my fancy in H&M. I think it demands on where you go. I managed to pick up a few things though.
