Review: Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural

I first purchased this last Christmas when I was placing a MAC Order. I've read numerous reviews all over the blogging and YouTube community about it. Most of them all loved it while a few said it made them look shiny and greasy but as they had oily skin and I have dry skin I thought I'd give it a go as otherwise I'd never know. It contains Mineral particles which reflect light but it's very subtle. It hasn't made me break out and doesn't make my face cakey. This is hard to come across when you have such dry skin as anything usually makes my face look cakey and even more drier as the day goes on. This stays put and I never need to re apply it throughout the day. You can build up the coverage. I do this by changing the way of applying it. I use a fluffy face brush for a light coverage and for under my eyes I use a powder puff and press it to set my concealer, making my under eye bags dramatically disappear. I've always struggled with under eye bags. I think this is due to my sinus problems and I'm borderline short sighted so struggle to focus my eyes a lot.
As well as using it for a setting powder, it can also be used on it's own or over just concealer to even your skin tone out. I do this a lot when I'm not in the mood for a full face of makeup or I'm just lounging around my house. I've read that it can also be applied damp but I haven't needed to try this. The idea is that it gives a deeper coverage. I've also toyed with the idea of buying a darker shade to use for a bronzer and contour my face. I have it in shade 'Light', which is the very lightest. I think naturally I should be the shade darker but this tones down my liquid foundation and blends well together. I've has this for 7 months and until a few weeks ago, my lovely sister dropped it out my bag on wooden floor it looked like it had barely been touched. Now all that remains of it is a ring around the pan and the rest is in the bin after sweeping it up. I think it can easily break if not stored properly as it's such a soft powder. I'm just about to re-purchase this. It's one of my daily products which I think I will be sticking with for a long time. I have only just realised how much I rely on it. I'd love to purchase some of MAC's Mineral Skin Finishes. They always look so pretty when pictured.
For the price of £18.50, you get 10g of product and it does last me so much longer than any other powder I have purchased. Although It may cost a little bit more, I'm not purchasing it as often so it cancels the price out.
