As good as the hype??

So i decided to try out the value makeup range, E.L.F Cosmetics. Seen loads of YouTube reviews and blog posts so thought I'd try a few out. I purchased them on Monday afternoon and received them Wednesday morning. Thought that was pretty good. Although going through all the products alot of the things i did want were out of stock. I wanted to try the cream eyeliner in black from the studio range, HD Powder, Shimmer eyeliner in gunmetal from the normal range but these were all out of stock. I also want to purchase the small and large brush holders but they were out of stock. So as soon as they are in stock I will be buying them...
Hypershine Lipgloss in 'Fairy'
So first up i didn't buy alot, it only came to £15 with postage but I am just giving them a try.
I got the hypershine lipgloss in 'fairy'. This was from the normal range and cost only £1.50 so i wasn't expected much. I tried to do a swatch but it just wasn't showing up although I have very pale skin. The colour isn't what it shows on the website. It is basically clear just with a tint of pink. I found that it was very sticky. But on how cheap it was I wasn't much suprised. I maybe need to try it for a while. The brightening eye liner was pretty average. It was the type you would buy from a drug store.
E.L.F Nail polish in 'Innocent'
Next up, I got the new nail polish in 'innocent'. I have been looking for a off nude colour for my nails so as this was the only shade near nude in stock I decided to get this. I can't wait to try this on my nails, I'll take pictures as soon as i do.  I've wanted a corrective palette for ages so I'm going to try this out. I thought i might as well get the normal range eye shadow brush. In my next order I'll be getting a few of the studio range brushes although for the price this brush was pretty good. My favourite of the lot was the blush. As you may know I am pretty pale so I'm always nervous on getting a dark blush or bronzer, so I always pick the lightest. This one as first when i swatched it on my finger wasn't very pigmented but as soon as i got it on a brush and on my cheeks I loved it. It wasn't too much and not too less, was just right.

If you haven't done already I would recommend purchased from E.L.F. You'll either love it or hate it. As I found out from my very small collection there are ones I love and ones that are a bit hmm. For the price some of them are just right but some are really good quality. This may be the studio range which are better. Will be purchased more very soon!
